Stockton Lake State Park, just six miles from Mutton Creek Getaway, also provides plenty to do: bank fishing, playgrounds, swimming, scuba diving, picnic pavilions, hiking trails, a nationally recognized sailing school, a designated water trail for kayaks and canoes, and more! With 2,000+ acres, this Missouri state park boasts a full-service marina, two boat launches, and a restaurant.
No boat? No problem. Both marinas have boats, pontoons, and jet skis available for rent.
Beyond lake activities, the towns of Greenfield and Stockton offer shopping at boutiques, antique malls, and gift shops as well as various restaurants, luncheonettes, drive-ins, and coffee shops.
Back on the water, the floating restaurant at Mutton Creek Marina — the No Wake Oasis — hosts live entertainment every weekend throughout the summer.
